The Commerce Division also cited issues about China’s “means to split encryption or build unbreakable encryption.” And it claimed that various entities from China and Pakistan had been included to the record for contributing to Pakistan’s nuclear pursuits or ballistic missile system.
China’s Foreign Ministry on Thursday blasted the new sanctions, saying that the state “will just take all essential actions to resolutely safeguard the respectable legal rights and interests of Chinese organizations.”
Spokesperson Zhao Lijian accused the United States of getting “frequently generalized national safety” and getting “abused point out electric power” to suppress Chinese enterprises.
In overall, 27 overseas entities and persons were additional to the US Commerce Department’s trade blacklist. Together with the Chinese firms, other targets were being centered in Pakistan, Japan and Singapore.
